Pancreas Cancer

When a cancer cell grows in the pancreas (a glandular organ behind the stomach)  it is called Pancreas Cancer or Pancreatic cancer.

Early Stage Pancreas Cancer
Early-stage pancreas cancer does not have any symptoms or signs in the initial stage.

Locally Advanced Pancreas Cancer
A stage where cancer cells have spread from the pancreas to surrounding blood vessels and lymph nodes. 

Advanced Pancreatic Cancer
The final stage is where the cancer cells spread to other parts of the body.

Symptoms of Advanced Pancreatic Cancer
Following are the symptoms of advanced pancreatic cancer:

  • Pale poop

  • Irritated skin

  • Blood Clog

  • Weakness

  • Jaundice

 

Treatment
Early-stage pancreas or pancreatic cancer is treated with surgery. And can also be treated with stereotactic body radiation, in case surgery is not possible. For advanced stage treatments involved chemotherapy, radiation therapy, vaccination, immunotherapy, and dietary changes.
