Types Of Kidney Cancer

Listed below are various types of kidney cancer:

  • Renal Cell Carcinoma: A common type of cancer that develops in the lining of small tubes in the kidney. Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinomas (ccRCC), Papillary Renal Cell Carcinoma (PRCC), Chromophobe RCC, Collecting Duct RCC, Unclassified RCC, Renal Medullary Carcinoma (RMC), and Clear Cell Papillary (CCP) are various types of Renel Cell Carcinoma.

  • Wills Tumour: Also, knowns as Nephroblastoma is a common type of kidney cancer that usually affects children between the age group of 3-4 years. Favorable Wilms Tumour and Anaplastic Wilms Tumour are two types of Wilms Tumour.

  • Benign Kidney Tumour: A type of kidney cancer that grows huge but does not spread to other body organs. There might be one or more small cancers, in either or both kidneys. They occur in two types that are Angiomyolipoma and oncocytomas.

Early Stage Kidney Cancer

Symptoms Of Early Stage Kidney Cancer

Treatment

Kidney cancer treatment generally starts with removing cancer b surgery. But in surgery, the removal of the cancer is confined to the kidney only. For removing cancer that has spread to other body parts treatments like immunotherapy, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy is used along with surgery.
